HOW IT WORKS
Automatic connections.
Less hassle.
With Passpoint and carrier offload, phones on participating carriers connect automatically to suitable Wi-Fi, without a guest-network login, seamlessly providing them with a stronger connection than cell signal alone.
Connect through your existing Wi-Fi or add dedicated hotspots.
DAS & PASSPOINT
Considering DAS or already have it?
Passpoint and carrier offload can give participating phones another connection path through your existing Wi-Fi. For some properties, that provides an alternative to a separate cellular system. For others, it complements the DAS already in place.

Add carrier offload to the networks you manage.
Managed service providers can improve connectivity for clients and explore revenue from eligible existing networks.

Details, when
you need them.
Start with a conversation. Bring in your IT or facilities team when you’re ready to explore the setup.
What does our IT team need to review?
Performance matters. Placement, internet capacity and busy-period demand affect the connection people get. A technical review covers access points, participating carriers, authentication, traffic separation, permissions and security requirements. Carrier offload does not replace your internet or guest Wi-Fi by default.
Who delivers and supports the solution?
Helium provides the technical delivery and support for these opportunities. Your site proposal will set out the installation scope, support contacts and responsibilities before you proceed.
We already have DAS. Is Passpoint still worth considering?
Yes. An existing DAS can continue providing service while lacking some newer frequency bands. Passpoint offers another connection path through suitable Wi-Fi. The useful question is how the two can work together for your property—not whether you must replace what you already have.
Public-safety requirements need their own qualified review.
How does this compare with Wi-DAS?
Wi-DAS uses Wi-Fi and Passpoint to improve indoor mobile connectivity without a separate cellular antenna system. Proof’s approach also uses Passpoint, with carrier connectivity through Helium. For your property, the useful comparison is which carriers are supported, whether your existing network can be used, and what equipment, costs and support are involved.
How does network revenue work?
Eligible existing networks can earn revenue from qualifying mobile carrier traffic. Payments depend on the applicable agreement and actual traffic; revenue is not guaranteed. This is separate from hosting a no-cost hotspot through the Small Business Program.
